Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex state and federal payroll tax notices, prepare amended returns, and correct errors across multi-state jurisdictions. You will own the case lifecycle, mentor teammates, and drive process improvements.

This role blends technical tax expertise with hands-on leadership to ensure accurate, timely resolutions. You will engage with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams, contribute SOPs, and share knowledge

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payroll tax with focus on tax defect resolution across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices across multiple quarters and states.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) end-to-end.
• Diagnose and correct payroll tax errors spanning multiple periods or jurisdictions.
• Maintain high accuracy in correction requests and manage WIP effectively.
• Coach and mentor senior staff and new hires on resolution processes.
