Intuit’s Payroll Tax Operations seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File. You will handle high-volume cases with independence and mentor teammates while expanding your tax depth.

This remote role offers flexible hours, overtime eligibility, and close collaboration with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams to ensure compliant payroll tax processing.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience with notice resolution, amended return prep, and payroll error correction across multiple states.
• Experience reading notices from IRS and state agencies and determining resolutions.
• Proficient in preparing amended federal and state payroll tax returns and understanding payroll tax law.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts and manage filings.
• Research and resolve complex payroll tax notices across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns and support correction workflows.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
