Job summary

Turner’s Outdoorsman in Rialto, CA is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team. The role handles end-to-end payroll for 39 stores and 760+ employees across California and Arizona, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance with an emphasis on ADP systems. You will oversee daily payroll operations, implement improvements, and coordinate with HR and Accounting. Hours Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm; OT as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a similar payroll role.
• Knowledge of ADP payroll processes, labor laws, taxation and statutory compliance in California and Arizona.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Good understanding of ACA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 39 stores and 760+ employees across CA and AZ.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement improvements to payroll processes and workflows.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports related to payroll.
• Create journal entries for deductions and accruals.
• Reconcile benefit invoices to ensure accurate deductions and payments.
