Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to provide advanced payroll analytics and ensure accurate, compliant bi-weekly runs across multi-state operations. You will serve as the UKG Pro/Ready SME, lead system enhancements, and partner with Finance, IT, and HR to drive payroll accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong Excel skills, with a focus on audits, 401k, and tax compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with FPC preferred; CPP required.
4–5 years of comprehensive payroll experience in high-complexity environments.
Minimum 3 years as a Power User or SME in UKG Pro/Ready or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive QA/QC reviews on pre-processing data and execute bi-weekly payroll runs.
Lead UKG system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
Research regulatory changes and maintain payroll policies repository.
Reconcile payroll data with 401k, accounting, and tax authorities.
Support year-end activities, W-2 issuance, and tax reconciliations.
Assist with audits and respond to unemployment claims.
