Evergen, a global CDMO specializing in regenerative medicine, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll operations with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and customer service. The role supports data integrity and interacts with HR, Finance, and leadership to resolve complex payroll issues.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in payroll/timekeeping or related finance roles, strong Excel and ADP skills, and a meticulous, service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Experience with ADP Payroll software and multi-state payrolls.
• Familiar with lean methodologies and process improvement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payrolls accurately and timely.
• Maintain payroll records including new hires and changes.
• Provide customized payroll service and escalate issues as needed.
• Enroll new hourly employees in timekeeping and train approvers.
• Prepare and audit payroll reports to ensure data integrity.
• Support system entries and GL activity related to payroll.
