HES Facilities Management in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Payroll Specialist for the in-office Payroll Department. You will process the company’s payroll, calculate wages based on hours worked, and administer payments.

The right candidate has multi-state payroll experience, strong accuracy, knowledge of payroll laws, ADP/Winteam proficiency, and excellent communication, to ensure timely, accurate pay and regulatory compliance while supporting leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in multi-state environments
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations (federal/state/local)
• Proficiency with payroll software (Winteam, ADP) and MS Office

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing using Winteam and ADP Smart Compliance
• Maintain payroll records and reports for salary/wages, accruals, deductions
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Troubleshoot payroll inquiries and escalations
• Audit processes to reduce errors and improve accuracy
• Provide support to leadership and obtain approvals as needed
• Process garnishments and related notices
