ARS-Rescue Rooter in Memphis, TN is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for a large, multi-state workforce. You will review timekeeping, earnings, and deductions, perform audits, and process routine transactions while meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of payroll laws. The role offers growth opportunities, an on-site work environment, and exposure to UKG Pro and related systems.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of payroll processing or related experience.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax requirements, and standard payroll controls.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and payroll data for accuracy.
• Perform pre- and post-processing audits and correct discrepancies.
• Process routine payroll transactions and updates (employee changes, direct deposits, tax withholdings).
• Collaborate with employees and managers to obtain timely corrections and respond to questions.
