Job summary

Stitch Fix, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Associate to manage biweekly payroll for 4,000+ employees across multiple states. You will own key payroll cycles, resolve complex issues, and partner with HR, Benefits, and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will leverage Excel and payroll HRIS systems, drive process improvements, and help maintain controls while adopting AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS systems (ADP Vantage, Workforce, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Own significant portions of the biweekly payroll cycle, including pre-payroll audits and time validation.
• Resolve complex payroll issues independently across multiple states with clear documentation.
• Perform detailed payroll reconciliations, variance analyses, and GL tie-outs.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance and other stakeholders to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Maintain SOPs and mentor junior team members, leveraging AI-enabled tools where appropriate.
