Job summary

Comfrt is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand focused on blending mental wellness, inclusivity, and comfort into clothing. We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage full-cycle payroll across multiple states for a fully remote team.

You will process bi-weekly payroll, reconcile time data, handle changes, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, while joining a purpose-driven company that offers generous PTO, health insurance, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Proven experience setting up state payroll tax accounts and registrations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly basis for all employees.
• Review and reconcile timekeeping data, ensuring accuracy prior to payroll runs.
• Administer payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and bonuses.
