Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll for a large, unionized workforce. You will collaborate across departments to resolve payroll inquiries and ensure accurate compensation.

The role requires 2+ years of payroll experience, in-house system knowledge (Munis/Skyward/Workforce) and strong Excel/G Suite skills. This is a 12-month position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of recent payroll processing experience with an organization with 100+ employees.
• Knowledge of in-house payroll systems (Munis, Skyward, Workforce) and payroll tax compliance.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-cycle payroll for ~6,000 employees across 6 union groups bi-weekly.
• Verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies with employees and supervisors.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconcile with general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax filings.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
