Job summary

LCS is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to independently process payroll for our managed communities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role mentors Payroll Accountants and partners with internal teams to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.

You will review bi-weekly payrolls in Oracle, maintain tax accounts, assist with client billing and reporting, and lead initiatives to enhance payroll controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax reporting.
• Ability to research and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Strong documentation and process-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process and review bi-weekly payrolls for multiple communities.
• Serve as SME for payroll, taxation, garnishments, benefits, and system functionality.
• Maintain payroll tax accounts and support W-2 processing.
• Assist with client billing and payroll reporting.
• Provide training and day-to-day guidance to Payroll Accountants.
• Identify and implement process improvements in payroll controls and reporting.
