Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in Orange County seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role will support high-volume, multi-state payroll operations and requires a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and payroll accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll for large employee populations, possess strong systems knowledge, and be comfortable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-volume, multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Workday) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll for a large employee population.
• Review and validate payroll data for accurate payments and reporting.
• Audit timekeeping records and employee payroll changes for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting teams.
