• Experience processing payroll for 200+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and payroll compliance.
• Union payroll experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and audits.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 200+ employees and ensure timely, accurate payroll.
• Ensure compliance with CA wage/hour laws and applicable payroll regulations.
• Review adjustments, retroactive payments, garnishments, and final paychecks.
• Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with managers.
• Supervise and develop payroll staff; promote best practices.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on lifecycle changes and reporting.
• Support payroll system maintenance, testing, and upgrades.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist audits as needed.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and data integrity.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
