Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist in Fountain Valley, CA to support multi-state payroll operations. This onsite role collaborates with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of payroll and HR experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong Excel skills. ADP Workforce Now experience and CPP/PHR/SHRM certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience and 5+ years of HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process bi-weekly payroll.
• Administer ADP Workforce Now (Payroll, HRIS, Time & Attendance, Reporting).
• Audit payroll and timekeeping data for accuracy.
• Process garnishments, tax levies, and employment verifications.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Maintain payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Generate payroll reports and support HR projects.
