Job summary

Addison Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support provider (Doctor/Clinician) payroll, including contract setup, incentive calculations, and monthly/draw processing. You will collaborate with Operations, Legal, Accounting, HR, and IT to ensure accurate, timely payroll and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with multi-state payroll. Workday Payroll experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive payroll experience with hands-on processing and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements and data analysis.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred; Workday Payroll is a strong plus.
• CPP certification preferred; pursuing CPP encouraged.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/HR preferred; in lieu, 6+ years of payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and GAAP.
• Experience with payroll systems, reporting and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll inquiries from clinicians/providers via case management systems; resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with provider contracts setup within the Provider Compensation system and RDH incentive contracts.
• Support monthly incentive processing and semi-monthly draw/advance payroll activities.
• Prepare and validate payroll files and final pay calculations for terminations.
• Process additional compensation payments with proper documentation and approvals.
• Support overpayment recovery and resolution in provider payroll.
• Provide payroll guidance to Regional Partners and field teams.
• Compile payroll data and reports for internal departments.
• Maintain SOX-compliant payroll processes and controls.
