Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a growing client base. You will manage an assigned book of business, ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance and exceptional client service.

This is an in-office role based in Chandler, AZ, with collaborative cross-functional responsibilities. The role requires strong payroll expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor team members while helping drive process

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of customer service best practices.
• Experience handling payroll processing and client inquiries.
• Ability to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex payroll issues with accuracy and urgency while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and support an assigned book of business, delivering reliable payroll service.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Production to streamline processes and address client needs.
• Assist with phone queues and respond to client inquiries by email, cases, and phone.
• Ensure payrolls are submitted on time per deadlines and SLAs.
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
• Document and update SOPs to support process consistency.
• Mentor Payroll Specialists and support ad hoc projects.
