LHH US in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll for a 200+ employee organization, with emphasis on union payroll and compliance. The role requires hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, meticulous attention to detail, and coordination of timekeeping data from external systems.

This onsite position offers an immediate start date and a path toward permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience running payroll for a mid-sized organization (200+ employees).
• Hands-on experience with union payroll, preferably within a construction environment.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll systems.
• Familiarity with timekeeping/attendance systems; construction-specific platforms a plus, not required.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and union agreements.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for all employees, including union and non-union populations
• Administer payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate earnings, deductions, and compliance
• Review and validate timekeeping data from an external attendance system prior to payroll submission
• Manage union-related payroll requirements, including fringe benefits, deductions, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union labor agreements
• Handle payroll adjustments, off-cycle runs, and employee inquiries
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and documentation to support audits and internal reviews
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support continuous process improvements

Pay Rate: $35-$46/hour
