Job summary

MEDLOG USA, part of the SEI Acquisition family, seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist on-site to handle contractor payroll and agent commissions with precision. You’ll be a senior resource for complex payroll, settlements, deductions, and commission matters while partnering with contractors, agents, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred.
• 3+ years of payroll, contractor settlement, commission, accounts payable, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or drayage industry strongly preferred.
• Experience processing contractor or driver settlements is highly desirable.
• Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll and contractor information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Review and process contractor payroll accurately within deadlines.
• Review and enter weekly deductions, resolve discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain contractor maintenance accounts.
• Review escrow fund releases and transfers.
• Manage payroll-related closeout for terminated contractors/vendors.
• Enter and validate contractor pay in the TMS.
• Research complex driver settlements and payroll discrepancies.
• Run Power BI reports to prepare agent commissions and validate payments.
• Review commission calculations for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist agents with commission questions and issues.
