Job summary

MEDLOG USA is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of contractor payroll and agent commissions. You will handle complex payroll, settlement, deduction, and commission tasks, while safeguarding sensitive information and promoting process improvements.

The role requires coordination with contractors, agents, and internal departments to resolve issues and maintain accurate payroll data within the TMS and related systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll, contractor settlement, commission, accounts payable, or closely related experience preferred.
• Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or drayage industry strongly preferred.
• Experience processing contractor or driver settlements is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process contractor payroll accurately and within deadlines.
• Validate and enter weekly deductions and resolve discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain contractor maintenance accounts.
• Process escrow fund releases and transfers.
• Manage payroll-related closeout activities for terminated contractors and vendors.
• Enter and validate contractor pay within the TMS.
• Research complex payroll discrepancies and brokered driver settlements.
• Prepare and validate agent commissions using Power BI reports.
• Provide guidance on payroll and settlement procedures.
