Charlie's Produce, the West Coast's largest employee-owned produce wholesaler, is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead the bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 1,700+ employees. You will coach staff and work with the accounting manager to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• 5+ years leadership experience supervising payroll staff.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Payroll certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Time and Attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle payroll processing for 1,700+ employees across multiple states.
• Supervise and train payroll staff; partner with accounting for accurate reporting.
• Oversee payroll audits, 401K/Roth contributions, deductions, and garnishments.
• Develop and maintain payroll SOPs, controls, and system setup documents.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and department leaders to resolve issues.
