R-2 Contractors in Prineville, OR is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for 250+ employees across multiple states. You will manage union payroll, prevailing wage reporting, and W-2 processing while ensuring tax compliance and accurate posting to the general ledger.

This on-site role offers Monday–Friday, 10-hour days, competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Formación

• Experience managing multi-state payroll operations.
• Working knowledge of union payroll and fringe benefit reporting.
• Experience with prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon, and certified payroll requirements.
• Knowledge of payroll tax compliance, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
• Ability to lead payroll staff and work collaboratively across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage weekly and payroll processing for 250+ employees across multiple states.
• Administer payroll under multiple union collective bargaining agreements, including wage rates and fringe benefit programs.
• Oversee prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon, and certified payroll requirements.
• Support compliance with applicable IRA prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements.
• Manage payroll tax filings, audits, garnishments, year-end processing, and W-2 reporting.
• Maintain payroll controls, reconciliations, and payroll-related general ledger accounts.
• Lead and develop payroll staff and identify opportunities to improve payroll processes.
