Job summary

Lindsay Family of Brands in Florida is hiring a Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll across multiple divisions and sites, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will oversee multi-state payroll, including manufacturing and construction pay structures, prevailing wage reporting, garnishments, tax registrations, and Paycom system administration, partnering with HR and Finance to maintain payroll integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive full-cycle payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
• Demonstrated experience processing multiple payrolls across multiple states, including multi-state and local tax compliance.
• Direct experience with manufacturing payroll (hourly, multi-shift) and construction payroll, including prevailing wage reporting.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, wage-and-hour laws, and payroll tax regulations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Paycom administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple payrolls, pay groups, and pay frequencies across all Lindsay Family of Brands entities, divisions, and sites in multiple states.
• Review and validate timekeeping data, hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings prior to each payroll close.
• Process new hires, terminations, final pay, pay changes, transfers between entities, and off-cycle Manual checks in accordance with state requirements.
• Ensure accurate calculation of overtime and regular rate of pay under FLSA and state wage laws.
• Perform pre- and post-payroll audits and reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain a payroll calendar and meet processing, funding, and transmittal deadlines.
