Job summary

Lindsay Family of Brands in Alachua, FL is seeking a Payroll Manager who will own full-cycle payroll across multiple states and sites, ensuring accurate, on-time pay and compliance with all wage laws. This role uses Paycom as the system of record and reports to the VP of Human Resources.

Candidates should have a 4-year degree and 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including manufacturing and construction payroll, with CPP/FPC a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive full-cycle payroll experience, including lead or management.
• Experience processing payroll across multiple states and wage laws.
• Construction payroll experience with prevailing wage and certified reports is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data accuracy are essential.
• Strong knowledge of garnishment processing and tax withholding.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple payrolls and states.
• Audit timekeeping data, hours, bonuses, and deductions prior to payroll close.
• Handle new hires, terminations, and pay changes in compliance with laws.
• Maintain tax profiles and ensure up-to-date registrations for new jurisdictions.
• Prepare reports and assist GL reconciliation and labor cost allocation.
• Develop and enforce payroll controls and process improvements.
