• Oversee and direct all payroll processing and related transactions for the Valley Metro business.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws, taxes, and union agreements.
• Develop project plans and delivery timelines; coordinate with HR and Finance.
• Educate, mentor, and train employees on payroll processes and compliance expectations.
• Monitor performance and timelines of key payroll processes.
• Travel to company locations as needed to support payroll operations and training.
