Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of payroll experience with focus on compliance.
• Recent experience processing payroll in Arizona.
• FPC or CPP designation preferred; UKG/WFM familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct payroll processing for the Valley Metro business and related transactions.
• Ensure strict adherence to local, state, federal laws, taxes, and Union agreements.
• Develop project management plans and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance across departments.
• Monitor performance and delivery timelines of key payroll processes.
• Educate, mentor, and train employees on payroll processes and compliance.
• Maintain timecard configurations and UKG setup with internal controls.
