Job summary

JRM Construction Management, LLC. seeks an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll and lead operations across a multi-state employee population.

The role requires deep payroll systems knowledge, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership to supervise the Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities include designing payroll policy, advising executives on costs and risk, and managing weekly payroll for 1,000+ employees, including union workers, while maintaining timekeeping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of payroll experience, multi-state and union complexity.
• At least 5 years supervising payroll staff.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll strategy, policy, and process design for all entities.
• Advise executive leadership on payroll costs, risk, and compliance.
• Oversee full-cycle payroll for 1,000+ employees weekly (salaried, hourly, union).
• Administer UKG Pro payroll system and timekeeping with WFM.
• Audit reports, resolve variances, and support month-end/year-end closes.
• Coordinate audits and payroll reporting, including certified/prevailing wage.
