Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) is seeking a senior payroll leader to manage all payroll activities across multiple entities, ensuring accurate timecard processing, tax reporting, and GAAP alignment.

You will supervise payroll staff, coordinate with Finance and HR on pay policies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering excellent service to internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance preferred or equivalent of ten (10) or more years of full cycle time and payroll processing.
• At least ten (10) years of full cycle payroll experience required. At least two (2) years of tax reporting experience required. Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience required, Experience with ADP preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll for multiple companies.
• Post payroll activity to the general ledger and reconcile related accounts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations and prepare tax filings.
• Lead payroll staff, conduct performance reviews and training.
