Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3-5 years payroll administration experience, preferably nonprofit or multi-site.
• Experience managing payroll for workforce with multiple funding sources or grants.
• Proficiency with payroll systems, UKG Ready preferred.
• Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded employees.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule in compliance with laws and policies.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, and other required reports.
• Collaborate with HR for onboarding, offboarding, and status changes.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with Finance on GL postings.
• Support payroll system upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
