Job summary

Biogensys is seeking a Payroll Manager in Newark, NJ to supervise payroll processing and interfaces across multiple cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. The role requires hands-on management of tax, deductions, and GL postings while maintaining data confidentiality.

You will coordinate with timekeeping, third-party sources, and vendors, oversee year-end processes, and provide audit support. Strong Excel and HRMS experience are essential for timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive financial management with payroll experience preferred.
• Experience managing both agreement and non-agreement staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage inbound payroll interfaces from timekeeping systems and third party sources.
• Plan, oversee, execute, and complete all payroll cycles (weekly/bi-weekly) with documentation.
• Manage outbound payroll interfaces to Data Center, banks, AP, GL and vendors.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of outbound files to payroll data.
• Oversee quarter-end/year-end payroll processes and W-2/RRB filings within deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of demographic and payroll data.
