Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 600 employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of regular and off-cycle payrolls.
• Review timecards, payroll data, deductions, adjustments and employee changes.
• Maintain compliance with California payroll and wage-and-hour regulations.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting and audit support.
• Partner with HR, Finance and Accounting on payroll-related matters.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and internal controls.
• Support payroll system processes and improvements.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Payroll Specialists.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, efficiency and processes.

KCG Search is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in Irvine to identify an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for approximately 600 California-based employees.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows California payroll inside and out and can take ownership of the entire payroll function. The Payroll Manager will oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, ensure compliance with California wage-and-hour requirements, partner closely with HR and Finance, and potentially lead a team of two Payroll Specialists.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 600 employees
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of regular and off-cycle payrolls
• Review timecards, payroll data, deductions, adjustments and employee changes
• Maintain compliance with California payroll and wage-and-hour regulations
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions
• Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting and audit support
• Partner with HR, Finance and Accounting on payroll-related matters
• Maintain accurate payroll records and internal controls

What We're Looking For

• Experience processing payroll for a sizable employee population; 600+ employees preferred
• Strong knowledge of California payroll laws and compliance
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Experience with Paycor highly desirable
• ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision experience is a plus
• Experience supervising or mentoring payroll staff
• Strong reconciliation, reporting and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and the ability to manage deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach when working with employees and leadership

Compensation: Approximately $115,000–$130,000+, depending on experience.
