You will oversee processing, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement to ensure timely employee payments and an exceptional employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, deep regulatory knowledge, and strong leadership, analytics, and collaboration across HR, Finance, and Benefits. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in a mid-sized corporate environment (multi-state).
• Deep knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and taxes.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; effective cross-team collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Manage payroll team and third-party providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and leaders to optimize payroll.
• Serve as payroll subject matter expert for complex issues.
