Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Payroll Analyst to apply analytical skills across timekeeping and payroll functions. You will train Payroll Coordinators, back up time editor training, and support departments and team members with HCM systems and direct deposit.

Responsibilities include developing standard processes, ensuring FLSA compliance, and maintaining accurate payroll while delivering excellent customer service to our team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum several years of experience in payroll and timekeeping.
• Experience applying company pay practices and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary trainer for Payroll Coordinators and back up time editor training.
• Prepare and distribute workload reports for payroll review.
• Ensure accurate, timely processing of on- and off-cycle payrolls.
• Maintain payroll documentation and respond to inquiries using ticketing software.
