Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI. The role owns the full payroll and benefits function with visibility across the organization, partnering with leadership on compensation, benefits strategy, and employee programs.

You will process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce, administer benefits programs, manage enrollments and vendor relationships, and lead cost negotiations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with end-to-end payroll administration
• Experience managing employee benefits programs and vendor relationships
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, payroll taxes, benefits administration, and HRIS systems

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely for a multi-state workforce
• Administer all employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans
• Manage benefit enrollments, changes, open enrollment, and employee communications
• Lead benefit vendor relationships, contract reviews, and cost negotiations
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax, wage and hour, and benefits regulations
• Generate payroll and benefits reports and support audits as needed
