Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Payroll professional in Grand Rapids to manage timekeeping and payroll processes for the organization and its members. You will train Payroll Coordinators, support time editor training, and ensure accurate, timely payroll operations while delivering excellent customer service to team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a payroll department that oversees timekeeping and payroll processing.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience applying Corewell Health pay practices in a timekeeping and payroll environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for Payroll Coordinators to navigate complex responsibilities and issues that need escalation.
• Serve as the primary trainer for all new Payroll Coordinators.
• Prepare and distribute workload reports/lists for Payroll Coordinators to efficiently review timecard exceptions.
• Develop and maintain uniform and efficient processes for reviewing timecards and payroll processing preparation for Payroll Coordinators.
• Assist, research and resolve team members’ timekeeping/payroll inquiries or issues including direct deposit, tax forms and pay slip view.
• Review and monitor biweekly time and attendance information and audit reports for pay accuracy and compliance.
• Provide timekeeping assistance to departments to enhance user skills and ensure 100% compliance and timeliness.
