Job summary

myHR Partner is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support a portfolio of clients remotely. You will work across ADP, Paylocity, Workday, iSolved, Bamboo, Gusto and more, owning payroll processing for assigned clients and guiding the team through complex payroll needs.

You’ll lead implementations, run custom reports, and handle audits while mentoring junior specialists. This role offers a fully remote, full-time opportunity with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience at an independent level and multi-state expertise
• California or New York payroll experience is a bonus
• Ability to mentor teammates and handle client-facing responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Own payroll processing for an assigned portfolio of clients; work with them on payroll needs
• Lead payroll implementations, transitions, and other large-scale projects
• Build and run custom payroll reports; conduct payroll audits
• Serve as main contact for audits, benefits census requests, and workers' comp reviews
• Manage payroll compliance tasks, year-end activities, and state-specific requirements
• Support employee benefits administration, reporting, and payroll setup as needed
• Provide payroll subject matter expertise and coaching to junior specialists
