Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator for a temporary, project-based role based in Billerica, MA. You will coordinate with the Payroll Team on bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for ~2,100 US and Canada employees. The position requires strong technical payroll knowledge, analytical and reconciliation skills, and strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years payroll experience in a public company setting.
• Hands-on knowledge of payroll, data management, internal controls and compliance.
• Experience using UKG Pro Payroll Systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Accurate, detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in biweekly payroll processing and data management.
• Process timecards and worksheets to meet deadlines.
• Monitor imports from HR eView; manually adjust as needed.
• Maintain payroll records with status changes, tax withholdings, benefits, accruals.
• Create off-cycle manual payroll checks when required.
• Support employees with UKG Pro access and payroll questions.
• Audit data between systems to ensure correct deductions and tax filings.
• Coordinate with UKG Tax Service for state/local filings.
• Maintain internal control and confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate with HR and Finance to ensure payroll completeness.
• Assist with biweekly payroll reporting and month-end accruals.
