Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a Payroll Generalist to accurately and compliantly process complex hotel payroll, including union CBAs, for bi-weekly cycles.

The role relies on Dayforce, maintains confidential employee records, produces payroll reports, performs reconciliations and supports managers with timekeeping and payroll analytics.

A strong analytical mindset, knowledge of payroll laws, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with payroll software such as Dayforce.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
• Union payroll experience preferred – familiarity with CBAs, union deductions and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll analytics, audits and reporting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Process Dayforce payroll accurately and timely.
• Handle complex union payrolls in compliance with CBAs and regulations.
• Process bi-weekly payroll including wages, overtime, tips, deductions and bonuses.
• Manage payroll adjustments and time-sensitive payroll matters.
• Verify wage calculations and employee data prior to payroll completion.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Assist ASC with union payroll activities and compliance documentation.
• Produce payroll reports and perform reconciliations.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit payroll transactions and suggest process improvements.
• Provide training to managers on timekeeping systems.
• Support with system setup, remittances and compliance documentation.
• Handle other payroll-related duties and special projects.
