Qualifications

• 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or related field by start date.
• Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in payroll, accounting, auditing, financial reporting, or related areas.
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll processing cycle on a rotating basis with other staff.
• Set up deductions, calculate adjustments, and input payroll changes.
• Prepare regular and amended quarterly payroll reports for state and federal taxes.
• Assist with Banner HR/Payroll system maintenance and table updates.
• Draft campus-wide emails and communicate payroll deadlines and changes.
