Job summary

J-U-B Engineers, Inc. seeks a Senior Payroll Administrator / Corporate Accountant in Meridian, Idaho. You will manage all payroll functions for about 600 employees, and support key accounting tasks. You’ll serve as the payroll subject matter expert, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

You will also perform journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and assist month-end and year-end closes. A strong problem-solver with attention to detail is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years advanced accounting experience.
• 5+ years multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state payroll regulations and payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls accurately and timely.
• Review payroll data including hours, overtime, deductions, and taxes.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure proper compensation changes.
• Ensure multi-state payroll compliance with regulations.
• Support payroll system configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
