J-U-B ENGINEERS, inc. in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator / Corporate Accountant who will manage payroll for ~600 employees and support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.

The role requires multi-state payroll expertise, payroll tax compliance, and familiarity with Paylocity and Deltek Vantagepoint; the successful candidate will improve controls and collaborate with the Finance team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of advanced accounting experience.
• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience with prevailing wage reporting a plus.
• Working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for ~600 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review payroll data for hours, overtime, leave, deductions, earnings, bonuses, and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records, tax information, garnishments, and benefits; update changes to compensation and deductions.
• Coordinate audits and provide supporting documentation to internal/external auditors.
• Support system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for payroll platforms.
