Job summary

OHSU's Payroll, Timekeeping and Labor Distribution Service Center seeks a Senior Payroll & Timekeeping Systems Reporting Analyst to drive data-driven payroll operations and deliver actionable insights across payroll, timekeeping, and LD.

You will collaborate with Finance and HRIS teams to develop Cognos Analytics, SQL, and BI dashboards, ensure data integrity, support audits, and help leadership make informed decisions within a governance framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Five years of experience with database query, analytic and reporting tools.
• Three years of experience as a project manager for technical projects.
• Two years of Payroll experience that demonstrates understanding of the administrative systems, processes and human resources functional areas.

Responsibilities

• BI Solution Development & Data Management: design, develop, implement and support complex BI solutions using Cognos Analytics, SQL and Cognos Event Manager.
• Develop, maintain and monitor metrics, dashboards and recurring reports.
• Respond to data requests and provide technical assistance for data analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for deliverables.
• Ensure leadership has accessible, actionable data and analytics.
• Propose reporting solutions to meet business needs and document specs.
• Develop compliant data governance and security-aligned reports.
