Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Sr Payroll Systems Analyst to lead data-driven payroll reporting across the payroll, timekeeping and labor distribution functions. You will partner with finance, HRIS and IT to design, implement and support complex BI solutions using Cognos Analytics and SQL.

You will create dashboards and recurring reports, maintain technical documentation and ensure data accuracy, security and governance to support strategic workforce decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Five years of experience with database query, analytic and reporting tools.
• Three years of experience as a project manager for technical projects.
• Two years of Payroll experience demonstrating understanding of administrative systems and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive data-driven payroll operations and deliver actionable insights across Payroll, Timekeeping and Labor Distribution.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and metrics for current and future state.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Finance and IT on system implementations and upgrades.
• Ensure data governance, security and reporting standards are followed.
