Baxter is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple manufacturing sites in Puerto Rico. You will maintain payroll systems, support compliance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and operations to deliver exceptional employee support and operational excellence.

The role requires 2–3 years in payroll or related fields, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Workday/Kronos. Excellent communication in English and Spanish is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or a related function.
• Experience working with payroll and timekeeping systems such as Workday, Kronos, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, accounting principles, and internal control requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience preparing payroll reports, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems (Workday & Kronos) with accurate employee data.
• Review and process timecard transactions, including corrections and adjustments.
• Process payroll adjustments for absences, PTO, and compensation changes.
• Authorize and process overtime per guidelines and approvals.
• Execute weekly payroll close and ensure timely transmission.
• Process salary adjustments and compensation changes on time.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports (absenteeism, overtime, labor projections).
• Support month-end close with payroll journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Conduct payroll deduction audits and ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze financial impact of compensation programs and benefits.
• Monitor HR budgets and expenditures; provide reporting.
• Process and submit invoices on time.
• Partner with managers to resolve payroll inquiries while ensuring compliance.
• Support HR projects and special programs.
• Ensure SOX compliance and strong internal controls.
• Support EHS initiatives by identifying hazards and inspections.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and privacy.
