Job summary

Verano is seeking a Sr. Analyst II, Payroll to oversee payroll for hourly, salaried, and union-represented staff across multiple states using SAP HCM and SAP ECP.

You will ensure timely, accurate processing and compliance with CBAs, while partnering with HR, Finance, Labor Relations, and Compliance. You will support M&A transitions, optimize SAP configurations, audit tax setups and wage orders, and produce payroll reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience with SAP HCM and SAP ECP or equivalent.
• Experience processing union-represented and hourly employees.
• Understanding of CBAs, wage and hour laws, and payroll taxation.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with focus on process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• High integrity and strict confidentiality and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and union-represented employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll accuracy per CBAs, including union dues, shift differentials, premiums, and special pay rules.
• Audit multi-state payroll tax setups, garnishments, and wage orders for compliance.
• Reconcile payroll results and correct discrepancies to preserve data integrity.
• Collaborate with HRIS and third-party payroll vendors to troubleshoot SAP configurations and automate processes.
• Support payroll integration during M&A activities and align systems.
