VGS is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Payments Quality, to set and enforce world-class quality standards across our high-throughput payments platform. You will build end-to-end automated tests and AI-assisted strategies, plus emulators for external systems.

You will collaborate with feature teams, drive performance testing, and ensure zero downtime while improving telemetry and analytics with Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality engineering for high-throughput distributed systems.
• Experience in automated test suites and REST API testing.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments (AWS).

Responsabilités

• Define and embed quality benchmarks across Payments Acceptance, automating guardrails in pipelines.
• Lead high-concurrency load, stress, and latency testing to prevent downtime.
• Develop AI-assisted testing tools and emulators for external systems.
• Enhance observability with Prometheus and Grafana; drive blameless post-mortems.
