Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Payments Products Development team. You will design, develop, and integrate AI-powered features across platforms, emphasizing robustness, security, and scalability.

You will collaborate with Product Office, Operations, Cybersecurity, and Client Support to deliver innovative payment solutions. Responsibilities include AI system design, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, with a focus on client value and modern

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant work experience or 5+ years of relevant work experience
Expert-level skills in Java, Python, and Node.js; experience with C++ or C# is a plus
Experience building Generative AI applications, conversational AI solutions, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and related tools and libraries

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions using AI and modern integration patterns.
Design and integrate AI components into larger platforms including data prep, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product Office, Ops & Infra, Cybersecurity, Client Support, and Product Development.
Continuously learn and share knowledge on generative AI, ML, and emerging technologies.
