Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a leader to manage the Payload Integration team and coordinate launch site operations for complex payloads. You will work with engineers, mission managers, and customers to define processes, ensure safety, and drive on-time integration and testing of payloads and interfaces.

The role requires extensive experience in payload operations, strong leadership, and hands-on readiness for shift work, travel to other Blue Origin sites, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, physics, aerospace engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct/specialized launch site payload operations/ integration experience.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial responsibility with daily leadership tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Payload Integration team and support Payload Operations functions.
• Lead engineers in payload processing studies in a cleanroom (100K ISO-8+).
• Coordinate payload interface requirement evaluations (IRD, ICD).
• Direct hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of payload hardware and interfaces.
• Develop schedules for payload integration and align with the New Glenn master schedule.
• Prepare data for internal and external engineering reviews and customers.
