Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Payload Accommodation Engineer III to join the In-Space Systems unit, supporting the development, manufacture, and operation of satellite systems for space mobility. You will contribute to a hardware-rich prototyping environment and experience the full lifecycle from formulation to flight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, or physics.
• Strong fundamentals in systems engineering principles and execution.
• Experience with payload accommodation, spacecraft design/integration/testing, or launch vehicles.
• Experience with project/program management and working in dynamic environments.
• Strong written and oral communication, proactive collaboration to move programs forward.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer-facing technical advocate for one or more payloads through full lifecycle from contract through integration and launch.
• Support development, allocation, and verification of requirements.
• Assist development of systems engineering processes and tools; work with multi-discipline teams to achieve technical solutions.
