Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Payload Accommodation Engineer III to lead customer-facing technical efforts across payload lifecycle, from requirements to launch. You will work with spacecraft design/integration teams and launch vehicle programs in a fast-paced hardware environment.

The role emphasizes systems engineering rigor, program management exposure, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver reliable space mobility solutions. US citizenship or eligible status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering, Physics
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience in payload accommodation, spacecraft design/integration/testing, or launch vehicles
• Experience with project or program management
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work with cross-functional teams

• Serve as customer-facing technical advocate for payloads through full lifecycle
• Assist with requirements development, allocation, and verification
• Develop and apply systems engineering processes and tools across multi-discipline teams
