Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, US Pharma Payer Marketing - Immunology to shape market access and payer engagement strategies for our Immunology launch products in the US. You will collaborate with Brand Marketing, IAM, Medical Affairs and Policy to translate insights into payer execution plans and optimize access.

You will lead payer segmentation, develop value evidence, and ensure alignment with brand strategy while guiding cross-functional teams through launches.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, market access, marketing, sales leadership, or consulting in the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of the mechanics and economics of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Understanding of US healthcare trends and policy issues and their impact on opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer segment strategies and promotional initiatives for US payer segments to achieve market access goals.
• Lead coordination with IAM and account executives and directors.
• Partner with promotions and Learning & Development teams to support customer-facing teams.
• Lead payer segmentation, targeting, execution planning, and KPI monitoring.
• Participate in value evidence strategies and ensure alignment with brand plans.
